The space, approximately 9,000 square feet (836 m2), is part of a larger urban context within the Ciudadela complex in Santurce, seamlessly integrating into the revitalized fabric of this vibrant sector of the city. With a narrow and deep configuration, and access from one of its shorter ends, the design begins with a linear sequence. The challenge lies in breaking this linearity to create a dynamic and fluid progression of spaces. With a height of 17 feet (5.18 m), the space offers opportunities to develop programs on multiple levels, enriching the spatial experience and allowing for vertical expansion. The central idea is organized around an elevated platform, raised 18 inches (45 cm) above the base level, which serves as the organizing element for the six divisions of the project. This platform is associated with the pillar of Creativity, represented by the color yellow, symbolizing illumination and inspiration—the Great Idea. This space is dedicated to the Creative Division, the core from which ideas emerge, within a diverse, participatory, and joyful environment. The platform is envisioned as a mass from which volumes are subtracted and added, defining the spaces between them. The platform transforms into tiers that ascend toward a floating mezzanine, carefully detached from the rear wall to maintain spatial continuity. On the mezzanine, distributed around a central bar, are the main conference room, meeting spaces, and informal areas for collaborative encounters. Here, shades of red, orange, and brown prevail, representing the pillars of passion and purpose. The tiers serve as a focal point from the agency's entrance, functioning as an amphitheater for presentations as well as for daily work or leisure activities. Bordering the platform, the journey continues through the agency's integrated service areas. These spaces reflect the pillar of ethics, integrity, and values, using materials and colors in shades of blue and green—prominent in nature and associated with environmental awareness and respect for humanity. These divisions house the Traffic, Media, and Accounts departments, organized along a surface with continuous curves that contrast with the platform's orthogonal geometry. Floating cubicles, brought from the original agency, represent a connection to the past and the organization’s history. Strategically placed, they delineate the different areas of the divisions while maintaining interconnectivity. The integration of colors throughout the design symbolizes team unity. The platform serves as the essential link between all divisions, fostering mutual enrichment to deliver the best product, while embodying the collaborative and creative spirit of the project.
